Adding Lufthansa's 10 US departure cities with non-stop services, makes a total of 66 US departure cities for you to choose from. United serves 9 destinations in Europe with non-stop flights. Our networks meet in 10 points in Asia, making our alliance truly global. Combined, Lufthansa and United serve over 400 destinations and operate up to 3,000 flights a day.

The Lufthansa/United alliance streamlines your travel. You make one call for bookings and reserve your favorite seats on all segments in advance; that means one stop for check-in, ticketing, advanced boarding passes and baggage handling for every segment of your journey. You can earn or redeem miles in either Lufthansa Miles & More® or United Mileage Plus® when you fly on flights operated by either airline. That means you can now redeem Lufthansa miles for a free trip to Hawaii or other United destinations. Moreover, as a Lufthansa Senator or Frequent Traveller Card holder, you also have complimentary access to United's Red Carpet Club Lounge on your day of departure, with a valid United Airlines ticket.
