Overview:
Telephone Sales Agent handles all facets of work associated with incoming passenger telephone calls and booking reservations while serving the customer in an professional, courteous and accurate manner.
Responsibilities:
 |
Giving fare information for new bookings. Determining fare rules for returning passengers. Queuing complex fare calculations(tickets to be reissued). |
|
Giving information about LH-schedules, availability, routings, mainly using LH-operated flights and code share flights. |
|
Offering auxiliary services such as Miles & More enrollments, car offers, seat reservations, meals, and hotels. |
|
Rebooking and informing passengers due to flight irregularities.
|
|
Sales Support for travel agents. |
Requirements:
|
High School Diploma or equivalent. |
|
Previous reservations experience desired. |
|
Good communications skills with phone etiquette. |
|
Ability to work under pressure while remaining professional and helpful.
|
|
Patience and tolerance with the internal and external customer. |
|
Flexibility and commitment to work shifts, weekends and holidays. |
|
Ability to work as part of a team as well as on own initiative. |
|
Knowledge of German and preferably other foreign languages. |
|
Good background knowledge of geography. |
