Lufthansa is adding two new western U.S. cities to its North American network, bringing the total number of its U.S. Gateways to 14. Daily nonstop Airbus A340 flights will operate from Denver and Phoenix to Lufthansa's hub in Frankfurt, Germany. In addition to our daily flight from Los Angeles to Frankfurt, we will begin daily service from Los Angeles to Munich, operated by B747-400 aircraft. With our new Washington flight, Lufthansa becomes the only airline to link the U.S. directly to the German capital city, Berlin. Our A340 service will operate six days a week.
