Lufthansa Transatlantic Travel Certificate

Terms and Conditions for 20% discount

1. Class of service: This certificate entitles the person named hereon to a 20% discount on any published fare (except Q, W and V/class) purchased in the U.S. and for travel originating in the U.S. from point of origin mentioned in this certificate to any Lufthansa destination.
2. Qualified route: Roundtrip from the US to any Lufthansa destination worldwide. Lufthansa operated flights booked with a Lufthansa flight number only. No code-share or interlining permitted. This offer is for any Lufthansa destinations, but travel must include a valid round-trip ticket on the following Lufthansa flights. LH447 Denver-Frankfurt; LH453 Los Angeles-Munich; LH449 Phoenix-Frankfurt; LH415 Washington-Berlin; LH439 Dallas/Ft.Worth-Frankfurt; LH441 Houston-Frankfurt.
3. Validity: March 25 to May 31, 2001 (Dallas/Ft.Worth and Houston flights are valid February 1 to June 15, 2001).
4. Restrictions: Travel must be completed by May 31, 2001 (June 15, 2001 for Dallas/Ft.Worth and Houston). Certificates are valid until May 31, 2001 (June 15, 2001 for Dallas/Ft.Worth and Houston) and are not transferable and non-refundable. Certificates will be void if bartered or sold, and will not be replaced if lost or stolen. Certificates cannot be combined or used with any other document or promotion, including any mileage award, or any group, tour, travel package, promotional fare, or travel industry discount. Only one original certificate is required per ticket. Photocopies will not be accepted. Applicable taxes and fees are the traveler's responsibility .
5. Mileage accrual: Mileage will be accrued according to the fare paid.
6. No cash refund value: Certificate has no cash value and cannot be returned or exchanged for cash or its equivalent. Each certificate shall be deemed fully used once the ticket is issued.

Customer instructions:
1. Call your travel agent or Lufthansa at 800 399-LUFT and mention that you are using the 20% cyber certificate when making your reservation.
2. Present the cyber certificate to your travel agent or Lufthansa when purchasing the ticket.
3. For tickets issued by Lufthansa, fax directly to 516 296-9627 before issuance. For etix®, present the certificate at time of check-in.

Travel agent instructions:
1. Make reservation directly from your CRS display. Deduct 20% from the applicable gross fare and include the following information on the ticket:
TOUR CODE: UD1DS20 (for Denver, Phoenix, Los Angeles, Washington)
TOUR CODE: TXDS20 (for Dallas/Ft.Worth, Houston)
ENDORSMENT BOX: NON-ENDORSABLE, Lufthansa only, Certificate #____
2. Tickets must be validated on Lufthansa (220).
3. Attach 20% certificate to the outbound transatlantic flight coupon. Airport Check-in Agent Instructions.

Airport check-in agent instructions:
1. Verify that the ticket is validated on Lufthansa (220).
2. Validate certificate in the designated area on the front of the certificate and return to NYCEA/M via co-mail.
3. Confirm that the certificate is filled out in its entirety.

Utilization:
1. By utilizing this certificate, the passenger agrees to abide by the terms and conditions. Lufthansa's conditions of carriage apply.
2. The rules governing certificates and the tickets with which they are used, may be changed by Lufthansa without advance notice. Such changes may affect your ability to use this certificate.
3. Lufthansa shall be the final authority on the interpretation of these terms and conditions.
4. The certificate is void if altered.

Lufthansa Transatlantic Upgrade Certificate

Terms and Conditions for eastbound upgrade

1. Class of service upgrade: This certificate entitles the person named hereon to a confirmed Lufthansa transatlantic Business Class reservation (subject to availability) with the purchase of a paid unrestricted Economy Class fare on Lufthansa purchased in the U.S. for travel from point of origin mentioned in this certificate.
2. Qualified route: Qualified route: Lufthansa-operated flights on LH447 Denver-Frankfurt; LH453 Los Angeles-Munich; LH449 Phoenix-Frankfurt; LH415 Washington-Berlin.
3. Validity: March 25, 2001 to May 31, 2001.

Travel agent instructions:
1. Book the upgraded transatlantic sector in D/class directly in your CRS display, while keeping any other sector beyond the upgraded transatlantic, in Y/class. For auto-pricing purposes, price the through itinerary in full-unrestricted Y/class. Please note that D/class is capacity-controlled and may not be available on all flights.

2. Please include the following information in the ticket:
FARE BASIS CODE: DUP1
TOUR CODE: UD1UP1
Endorsement box: UPG valid on LH only.

3. Tickets must be validated on Lufthansa (220).
4. Attach upgrade certificate to the eligible transatlantic flight coupon.
5. Create OSI element: "LH UPG CORPC".

Airport check-in agent instructions:
1. Verify that applicable Economy fare (paid full Y/class) was purchased and that all tickets are validated on Lufthansa (220).
2. Confirm that the upgrade certificate is filled out in its entirety.
3. Validate certificate in the designated area on the front and return to NYCEA/M via co-mail.

Utilization:
