LH passengers can plug in computers hassle-free

Many passengers on long-haul flights use flying time to work on their computers, and Lufthansa has installed PC power to take the hassle out of connecting.

Since April 1, 2000 LH has started to install PC Power in First and Business Class on long-haul B747 and A340 aircraft. Passengers can connect their laptops directly into the aircraft's electric system without a need for an adapter. The PC Power socket is built for two-pronged European plugs as well as for two and three-pronged American plugs.

LH is the first airline in the world to offer this innovation. Nearly 50% of our fleet has been outfitted with the new technology and installation of the entire intercontinental fleet is scheduled to be completed by this fall.
