Lufthansa has re-designed its Business Class on flights within Europe, saving you time and adding more comfort to your journey.

Exclusive services smooth the way on the ground.
Your personal Lufthansa Check-in Service Number is all you need to transform your phone or fax machine into your personal Lufthansa Check-In counter. When traveling with hand baggage only, call or fax 0561/00 33 99 (within Germany only). Your boarding pass will be waiting for you at the airport.
You'll also appreciate the speed and convenience of our Curbside Check-in. Simply turn in your baggage and pick up your boarding pass right at the terminal entrance. Currently this service is available in Frankfurt, Dusseldorf and Munich.
All our Service Staff members speak English, and can also help you in the other languages shown by the button on their lapel. The same naturally goes for our specially-trained Check-In Guides (currently in Frankfurt, Dusseldorf, Munich, Stuttgart and Hamburg), These Lufthansa agents will get you to the right gate and respond to all your questions quickly and courteously.
In Frankfurt, specially-marked Lufthansa Service Phones are found at key points throughout the airport. They give you a direct hotline to a qualified, friendly Lufthansa agent who can help get you on your way and welcomes your questions and comments.Exclusive Business Lounges and Business Gates help you make the most of your time.
Because your time is valuable, we make sure the time you spend on the ground really flies, too. Start by heading directly to one of our separate Business Lanes, where you can count on priority treatment during security checks.
Our new Business Lounges in Frankfurt, Stuttgart, London, Paris, Brussels and Milan make it easy to pass the time. (In 1997, others are scheduled to open in Munich, Bangkok and Berlin.) Enjoy snacks and beverages from the bar and buffet. Take advantage of carefully selected business facilities (including electronic work aids) and showers on arrival in Frankfurt. Relax with your choice from a generous selection of leading newspapers and magazines.
In addition, our exclusive Business Gates at Frankfurt (with more on the way at other airports) help ensure your comfort and productivity before boarding. Enjoy a snack and beverage. Pass the time with your choice of several newspapers. Or update an important file on the PC with Internet connection.
Our Business Class service gets you on board and comfortable fast.
With Easy Boarding, our passengers board the aircraft separately by zones, based on seats rather than rows, which are printed on their boarding passes. This means no crowding, no rush and a punctual takeoff. Once seated, you won't need to get up for other passengers.
Travel with hand baggage only and you travel faster. You can now take two pieces of carry-on baggage on board* - one in the overhead bin and one under the seat in front of you. This speeds up check-in and saves time waiting to retrieve baggage.
When you take your seat, the first thing you'll discover is that our seats are wider. We accomplished this by doing away with one seat in every row. So now you fly with more seating space and more elbow room.
You'll also notice that the seats are covered in fine leather. It's a difference in style and comfort that you not only see, but feel as well.
As soon as you are comfortably seated, you can enjoy a selection of the latest magazines, offered by our flight attendants - a service provided by no other airline in Europe.
*Please note: Maximum dimensions for hand baggage are 21 3/4" x 15 3/4" x 7 5/6" (55 x 40 x 20 cm). In addition, we hope you Will understand that for your security we may in exceptional cases be forced to depart from this two-piece policy (particularly on regional services operated with smaller aircraft: our flight numbers LH 1500-1849, LH 5000-5999).

On short flights, we indulge you with a small, but exquisite, snack. On longer routes, you have time to savor our chefs' culinary artistry in all its variety.
As with our transatlantic service, you can request a special in-flight meal. With 22 Special Meals available on nearly all flights, you're sure to find a suitable and delicious alternative.

Lufthansa service does not end with a friendly farewell from your flight attendants.
As a special service, we provide insider tips on your destination - suggestions like an especially charming hotel, a cultural event, or a delightful restaurant. These tips are based on suggestions by our staff, who really know their way around Europe.
Your flight attendants will hand you your personal wallet-size copy of these suggestions before you leave the aircraft. On Eastern Europe flights, you'll receive a booklet containing detailed information about your country of destination.
