Bonus miles on new routes
New service from Philadelphia and Detroit.
As of March 28, 1999, Lufthansa will offer you an even greater choice of gateways to Europe. To celebrate our new services from Philadelphia and Detroit to Frankfurt, we invite you to participate in our exclusive mileage promotion.

From March 28, 1999 until May 31, 1999, you can really boost your mileage account. Each time you fly Lufthansa in paid First or Business Class on any of these new routes, you'll earn 10,000 bonus miles. Just fly round-trip on any of them and you'll almost have enough miles for a one class free transatlantic upgrade on your next Lufthansa flight.
To take advantage of this offer, you must register by May 31, 1999, by calling 800 416-5290 or sending a fax with your name, account number and code word "new routes" to 516 296-9474.

Partner news and promotions

Lauda Air
Starting on May 1, 1999, we will be limiting our cooperation with Lauda Air to a code-sharing agreement on the Miami-Munich-Vienna route. Starting then Miles & More members will only be able to earn and redeem miles on this route. The same applies to upgrades.

Singapore Airlines
Now earn miles in all classes on Singapore Airlines.
As of February 1, 1999, you'll have more ways to earn miles in your Miles & More account. As of that date you can earn miles on all Singapore Airlines flights in all classes including most Economy Class fares.

Avis
Just say "A" to Avis and earn 2,000 miles.
This special offer is being extended to March 15, 1999. At a rate of just DM119.-/day including unlimited mileage, airport surcharge, and VAT (excluding CDW), you are bound to enjoy this little athlete on wheels. This offer applies only to the Mercedes A-class with advance reservation and specification of the "LP" rate code. To make your reservations call 800 331-1212 in the U.S.

Two "newcomers" join the Star Alliance network.
The Star Alliance network is growing fast: Starting April 1, 1999, Lufthansa Miles & More partners Ansett Australia and Air New Zealand will become members of the alliance.
And as of January 1, 1999, all flight miles you earn on flights with these two new members will also count towards achieving or retaining Lufthansa Frequent Traveller or Senator status in the future.

Lufthansa Sky Shop
For all orders from our Sky Shop catalogue of DEM 150 or above you will receive bonus miles.
